Terms of use
App: Arjy FieldNet (com.arjy.fieldnet) · Last updated: October 27, 2026
In short: Arjy FieldNet is free, ad-free and account-free, for all uses, including professional use. The app is provided "as is": the publisher is not liable for damage or misuse, to the extent permitted by law (section 6).
1. Publisher
The app is published by Tekvalo (sole proprietorship, SIRET 753 478 593 00027), represented by Thibaut RIFFLARD. Full details: legal notice on tekvalo.com. Contact: contact@tekvalo.com.
2. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the installation and use of the Arjy FieldNet Android app (the "App"). By installing or using the App you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, you must uninstall the App. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
The App requires an Android 8.0 or later device with USB OTG support and a compatible USB-to-Ethernet adapter. Compatibility with any given adapter is not guaranteed.
3. Licence to use and intellectual property
The publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App, revocable in case of breach of these terms. The App, its code, name, logo and documentation remain the publisher's property. Except to the extent permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, decompile, redistribute, sublicense or rent the App.
4. Free use
Use of the App is free, ad-free and account-free for everyone, including for professional use.
The publisher reserves the right to offer paid versions or features, or a licence for certain uses, in the future. Any such change would be announced beforehand on this site and on the Google Play page, and would update these terms; it would not retroactively charge you for use of versions already installed.
5. Responsible use
The App is intended for networks you administer or are authorized to work on. You agree to use it in compliance with the law and not to use it to gain unauthorized access to a system or disrupt a third-party network.
Arjy FieldNet includes active scan and port scan functions. Only use them on networks you administer or for which you hold written authorization; these scans can disturb some fragile devices or trigger security alerts. The app has no intrusion function.
6. Warranty and liability
Important: the App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind as to its accuracy, availability, compatibility with any particular hardware or fitness for a particular purpose. Tekvalo is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, caused by use of the App, nor for any misuse or use not in accordance with these terms or the documentation.
Excluded in particular, to the fullest extent permitted by law: network or production interruptions, loss of data, service, business, revenue or customers, configuration errors, device modifications, scans carried out without authorization, and incompatibilities with an adapter or device. Information displayed by the App is indicative: it is your responsibility to verify it, to back up your configurations before any change, and to hold the necessary authorizations.
You remain solely responsible for how you use the App. If you act on behalf of an organization or in a professional capacity, you indemnify the publisher against any third-party claim arising from your use of the App in breach of these terms. No support is guaranteed.
These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law: they do not limit the publisher's liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct or for personal injury, and do not affect the rights that the law mandatorily grants to consumers. The publisher undertakes to use reasonable means to provide an App that matches its description.
7. Personal data
The App collects no personal data (see the privacy policy). If you contact the publisher by e-mail, the details you provide are used solely to answer your request.
8. Third-party trademarks
Product names and trademarks mentioned (for example ASIX, Realtek, PROFINET, Android, Google Play) belong to their respective owners and are cited for information only; the publisher is not affiliated with these owners.
9. Changes
The publisher may change these terms. Changes apply from their publication on this page (date at the top). Continuing to use the App after a change means acceptance.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction: between businesses, those where the publisher is based; for a consumer, those designated by the statutory jurisdiction rules.
